The rooms were clean and comfortable. We missed the fact that pool was closed while booking (all the pictures said otherwise). So that was a huge disappointment since it was super hot outside.
The solitary quiet location. The luxuary inside hotel en room. Very refined. The warmth (literaly) in side.
It's one of those hotels that no longer exist. A mix of classic and Spanish-rooted culture. We loved it.
and Ciudad Rodrigo is a gem! always worth a visit!
The room is spacious and has a comfortable sofa and 2 nice sitting chairs. The beds were well made with nice linens. Marisa in the restaurant was pleasant and remembered me from my last stay. It is always nice to be acknowledged as a repeat guest. In the morning I only have coffee, and Tamara, the breakfast server, was very nice to chat with for a few minutes about the area and she made a great espresso.
The bed was BIG and VERY comfortable
