Hotel Portal Del Matarraña is a charming boutique hotel, set in a restored Aragonese mansion in Valjunquera. It offers modern air-conditioned rooms and suites, free Wi-Fi and free parking nearby. Modern accommodations features wooden floors and a flat-screen TV. All rooms are heated and soundproofed and some have a living room and balcony. Each comes with a safe, mini-bar and private bathroom. A buffet breakfast is served, and the Portal Del Matarraña has a bar and à la carte restaurant. Breakfasts were delicious and plentiful. The dinners were also great. It's not a fancy restaurant, but the food was very good and it was nice to be able to eat at the hotel. The owner was super-nice and helpful. He gave us excellent tips on places to visit and eat lunch each day of our stay. While driving around the region, we saw some of the other hotels that we had been considering and were happy we chose the Portal Del Matarrana. There's not much to do in the town, but it was a good base location. Free parking was available next to the hotel.
What a fabulous, rustic place. The owner is outstanding, the room was neat and clean and huge, breakfast was a treat. The owner gave us great advice for scenery and places to eat.
We had a wonderful 4 night stay . All elements were excellent … the room the service exceptional . We ate in for three nights some of the best local food experience we had in our 2 weeks in Aragon . The host could not have been more helpful with lots of constructive suggestions of places to visit .This is really one of those 10 out of 10 places .I rarely say this but we were sorry to leave !!Avery special place

Fabulous little hotel, the owner was so attentive and knowledgeable of the local area and he gave us some good places to visit which we did. The hotel was spotless, the breakfast was cold meats and cakes but plentiful there was also cereal and fruit. The village was very quiet but was only 20 mins drive to motorland which is what we were here for with the world super bikes.
