Juan was an excellent host. He was so helpful in suggesting walks, places to see, places to eat. His breakfasts were superb and we were lucky enough to have two of his evening meals which were absolutely delicious.
Central location in the village. Excellent information and routes provided for local walks. Juan was very flexible and helpful for everything we needed. His English was excellent too. Our room was quirky with an added sitting room and roof terrace - we loved it.
It was perfect for our needs. Centre of the beautiful town of Tarbena with all its rustic charm.
Ideal location to start any of the surrounding mountain walks from, returning for lunch at any of the cute cafes in the plaza or surrounding side streets.
Juan our host was extremely helpful sharing tons of knowledge about the history of the area, generous with his time and experience, we learned so much and look forward to the next time we can return to Tarbena
- Tarbena is a small lovely town with very nice atmosphere, couple of restaurants on the main square and amazing views around. Learn its interesting history and the perks of Mallorquin dialect they speak
- There're lots of hiking routes, you can walk up the Moor castle and enjoy an amazing panorama of the town and see Benidorm on the horizon
- Hotel is a good option if you travel around in the season and there're no good price options. It's just 40mins from Altea though the road is very winding
- Breakfast was really nice and the staff was incredibly pleasant
- Room for 4 has been quite comfy, had an AC
