Set in the historic center of Las Palmas, La Casa de Vegueta is a 5-minute walk from the Cathedral. This charming guest house features an interior garden patio with a fountain and sky views. Set around the patio, the spacious rooms come with a wardrobe and a private bathroom with a shower and hairdryer. Bed linen is Egyptian cotton. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. Most of the furniture is designed by the renowned architect, Miguel Martín Fernández de La Torre. You will find shops, bars and restaurants within a short walk, and Vegueta Food Market is a 5-minute walk away. Las Palmas Airport is a 20-minute taxi ride away and an airport shuttle service is available for an extra charge. Tourist information is offered and Las Canteras Beach is 10 minutes away by car.

Unique building, exceptionally tastefully decorated and very spacious. Our host ana was welcoming and informative,but never overbearing. In the heart of the old quarter but v quiet inside. Host gave suggestions on both main places to go and some more unique ones to our interest. Would be exceptionally good in v hot weather because of the house design. It felt like a special treat!
We liked the fact that it felt like a real Canarian traditional house, and also that Ana the owner lived upstairs and was so helpful during our stay.
La Casa Vegueta is in a fantastic location. So quiet you can hear the birdsong but an easy walk to the bars and restaurants of the old town. The style of the house with its internal courtyard is really delightful and Ana is so kind and helpful, making lots of great suggestions of things to see and do and places to eat. We would highly recommend this as a place to stay in Las Palmas. The bus stop to go to Las Canteras beach is an easy walk from the house.
Ana was a marvellous host who made our stay very enjoyable. The house was stunning and one of the best we have ever stayed at over many years and was spotlessly clean. The area was very quiet yet only a few minutes walk away from the cathedral and historic centre.
