La Morada Del Unicornio, Калонже, Испания

La Morada del Unicornio is the most fabulous and romantic place we enjoyed while exploring Catalunya. We were a part of a fairy-tale, a fantasy with unicorns looking at us from every corner. We will be back, I hope.

We really enjoyed our 7 night stay in La Morada del Unicornio. We found it very comfortable, full of character and well equipped. Location is ideal for exploring the small town of Calonge on foot but a car is needed to explore other attractions further afield. Although we didn't meet Olga, Kim welcomed us to the accommodation and was the perfect host throughout, providing information on things to see and do. He spoke very good English. The town is very quiet and peaceful and it was charming to hear the bell chimes every hour. We spent quite a bit of time sat out on the terrace with lovely views across the old town and surrounding area. Very peaceful in the evenings. Calonge is certainly a good base for exploring the Costa Brava region.
