Mambo Tango is a backpackers’ hostel located in Barcelona’s Poble Sec district, just 328 feet from Parallel Metro Station. It offers free daily activities and free Wi-Fi access. Mambo Tango Hostel offers colorful dormitories and private rooms, all with air conditioning, heating and individual lockers. You can prepare meals in the Mambo Tango’s shared kitchen, or enjoy a film in the TV lounge. The hotel’s free activities include photo exhibitions, music classes and city walks. Staff can provide information on Barcelona’s many attractions, as well as help with ticket reservations and discounts. The property also organizes daily guided walking tours and night tours to bars and nightclubs. The famous Gaudí houses are within 15 minutes’ walk of the hostel. Located at the foot of Montjuïc Hill, the hostel is an ideal base for visiting Montjuïc Castle and the Magic Fountains. The lively Raval district is just a 5-minute walk away.

location is very good, walking distance to everything. the beds are comfy and the hostel team is very nice. Abraham is the best! :)
It was my 3rd time in Barcelona and staying in a hostel and it was the best hostel so far. Clean, great location - close the Metro station, easy to get from/to airport and 25 minutes walk only to the port. Nice staff, complimentary breakfast - some pastry, bread, jam, apples. I could also leave my luggage on the checkout day as my flight was in the evening.
It was exactly what I needed: great location, 24h access, no fuss, friendly staff, clean facilities. They provide locks for the lockers, which is a nice little touch.
There were good communal spaces and access to a fridge. The facilities were basic but clean and all in working order. The AC was really good and much needed with the hot and humid weather. There was also a cute little patio outside our room.
Amazing staff, all three receptionists were great specially Abraham. Complimentary breakfast, coffee and tea available all the time. Clean kitchen and outer areas. Bathrooms and shower stalls were also quite clean despite being very small. Close to the metro and bus stations. You can also walk to the city center.
Just a suggestion to install some coat hangers or hooks in the rooms to hang towels etc.
