Idoia was an amazing and kind host and she gave excellent advice on things to do in the city
The pension is essentially a fancy hostel, simple lodgings but very clean, quiet, and comfortable and great value for those who don't plan to spend much time inside their hotel.
Our room had two beds, a shower, and a private balcony. Otherwise toilet facilities are shared with other rooms.
Comfortable rooms and great kitchen and shared area
Our stay at Pensión Aia was absolutely wonderful. Our flight landed quite early in the morning, and Paulo was kind enough to store our luggage hours before check in. He went out of his way to give us recommendations and provide detailed map instructions for walking and public transportation. The room was perfect and cleaned daily, and it was really nice to have a private shower in the room. The shared bathrooms were very clean, and there were plenty of them (I never had to wait for a bathroom to become available). I would absolutely recommend Pensión Aia, and my partner and I will definitely be back!
Easy to find, near the beach. The pension was tidy and decorated nicely. The owners were extremely welcoming and gave us good suggestions on what to see and where to eat.
The location, the cleanliness, the owner and employees were all wonderful. Our room also had a terrace, which was lovely. The kitchen was clean and well equipped.
