My partner and I booked El Salto for a night while bike touring a section of the Camino de Santiago. Fernando, the host, was very communicative, super accommodating and really kind! We arrived much later than anticipated and he was there, ready to welcome us in and let us get settled and cleaned up before dealing with logistics. He helped us find a restaurant that accommodated vegetarians and let us do laundry! We loved Fernando!
The place was very spacious, super clean, set-up well, and had all the necessities for travelers. The bed was very comfortable and the windows had nice pull down shades so you could catch the night breeze without bugs.
We loved El Salto! Highly recommended for bike tourists and pilgrims alike!
It was a highlight on the Camino! Incredibly beautifully restored 150 year old mansion. Fernando was so welcoming and an exceptional chef! The experience was magical right down to the lightening and thunder show at night!
It’s a beautifully renovated building with a unique layout, great patio deck, and relaxing water channel that runs through the property

The host and owner Fernando is a wonderful person who is very kind and generous and a friend to his guests. The dinner and breakfast he prepared were delicious.
