Joanna and João the receptionists The only 5 star thing in this hotel is Joanna and João the receptionists, everything else is creepy 1 star. I never write negative things even if it was a disaster, but given the ca 500 eur/night rates for this hotel-wanna be, I suppose its hard to write positive things when almost everything seems to be brought from a thrift shop. Dirty carpet, mosquitoes in room, super noisy at all times, and beyond 2AM (albeit insisting on quiet room - unless, of course, you pay extra because 500 a night is not enough for a decent room lol), by the time the stop dragging, slamming and flushing, comes the other room at 7AM. Creepy balcony with a view on someones else hanging underwear, also an ibis budget small size, but not as comfy as ibis, squeaking bed, edgeless worn out furniture, and the room smelled human sweat (no joke).. sheets haven’t changed for the whole stay, coffee, soap etc had to be asked for! the list goes on forever. Thanks Joanna for maintaining a good smile and being helpful and kind… Thanks João, for immaculate professionalism, and thumbs down for the hotel itself in all other aspects. Oh wait, one good thing: they offered me 1 euro bottle of water at checkin for free! And also the stone-age fridge comes with couple of free drinks if you wish to drink and forget the night.. I would have given the hotel a 5* rating only if the room rate was 50eur/night (because its on par with 50-100 euro hotels). I feel sorry for having to write such negative review but to help others make right decisions before wasting their money.
