Clean, basic room and the location provides an opportunity to be part of the local community. Very nice checkin person. Public parking lots are nearby.
Wonderful staff. Very accommodating.
Nice room on the 3rd floor (though the 2nd floor has been remodeled and is therefore a little nicer).
Sparklingly clean rooms, with fantastic view from the terrace that receives morning sunshine, right next to one of the main squares and exceptionally kind personnel - all this for a very democratic price!

Absolutely perfect location in the exact centre of Alcantarilla. Albaro who manages the hostal was a lovely and hugely helpful man and deserves a lot of credit. Maria was also superb. The public car park is a few metres off the main street. 10 euros a day in secure parking. Almost the same distance to a host of restaurants around the main square. None of them expensive. Had a superb mojito in Bar Picaro. One of the best I have had in the 20 odd years I have lived in Spain. There is an heladeria (ice cream parlour) called Snoopys. Fantastic mango and chocolate ice creams amongst the host of other choices. Had a wander and found an absolutely amazing Colombian restaurant called Sublime Grill on Fire. Never, ever, have had a burger like the ones we both picked. Called a Picantona, a homemade style burger with pulled pork, chilli con carne (with beans) guacamole, cheese and jalapenos in a toasted bun. Fantastic and I am not a burger lover normally.
