Family owned and we met some of them and they are wonderful people. Very lovely family who genuinely care and get to know their guests even for a short stay. Beds are great, rooms are spacious and clean, location is a great proximity to Volterra. The restaurant is quaint and makes fantastic handmade pasta. Overall 10/10! Would repeat!!
We had a fabulous night at this charming hotel run by lorella - the room was spotless with a very comfortable bed and great bathroom. We arrived before our check in time but they made our room ready and gave us a welcome coffee on arrival. We had a delicious dinner that evening. We highly recommend this as a great stop - the bus to and from volterra higher stops right outside the hotel - thank u

We booked this for one night as it was a convenient location on a cycle touring trip around Tuscany. Lorella was very welcoming with a big smile when we arrived which was really nice. She also speaks fluent english. We stored our bikes in their garage. The property is immaculately clean, the room is spacious and comfortable with great AC. Lorella was great and couldn't have been more helpful. We had dinner which was excellent and the waitress girl was also very nice. Breakfast was extensive and also excellent with lactose and gluten free options all laid out if that's a concern. As another review referred to, the outside doesn't look great but don't let this put you off. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Thanks!
