Clean, comfortable, hostess very pleasant, a quiet area but top of the old town, felt safe being there as a solo traveler.
The hotel is close to the train station and only a few minutes from the centre of Ferrara. I had to pick up the key to my room at Hotel Civico on the other side of the road, but the friendly receptionist got in touch with me via WhatsApp on time to inform me about that. My room was exceptionally big, which I really enjoyed. The room was plain; but everything was clean and the bed was comfy. The hotel does not offer breakfast but you can get a discount at a café nearby. There are lots of restaurants, bars, cafés and a Spar supermarket within walking distance
