The VIEW!! Beautiful view of the Amalfi area without the crowds. This is in the mountains above Amalfi, which is challenging to reach, but once you do, the people are friendly and helpful. Facilities were updated and nice.
The view from the balcony was breathtaking. Also the host took such good care of the facilities at home and kept the home equipped with warmth and everything necessary in bathrooms kitchen and bedrooms.
The beautiful setting, the spectacular view, the great value. Most of all, Pina, the owner, and her family. Pina went above and beyond in terms of helpfulness and friendliness
During our stay, my husband had an urgent medical issue at the top of the stairs. My text messaging wasn't working and none of our friends had WhatsApp, so I had to contact Pina, and ask her to please inform our friends ( who were waiting for us at the rental) that we had an emergency. She was on the scene with the rest of our party immediately.
Other residents of Minuta also came to our aid. A lovely young woman called paramedics and remained with us to translate. A nice young man offered a ride to the hospital in case the paramedics didn't arrive soon. Neighbors came out and offered moral support.
No room for all the details here, but suffice it to say, we loved our stay at Casa Bellavista. We were treated like family and would love to return some day!

Casa bellavista was such a beautiful place! The size is exceptional and the effort put into the interiors of the house is just wow. We loved how complete the things are from pots and pans, to shampoo and soap, and to extra duvets and pillows. Amazing shoreline views from every room needs more recognition. ACs were perfectly working and the beds are truly clean. We wished we had a day to just stay in casa bellavista because I'm sure it wouldn’t disappoint. Just wow. We initially rented a scooter to go about amalfi but we discovered that commuting by taking the bus and ferry was more convenient for us. The bus ride to amalfi was just 20-30 mins. It comes around every hour so pay attention to bus timings which you can see online or from ticket offices. The bus station is just a 15-min walk from the casa. I couldn’t recommend casa bellavista more!
