Calipso Residence was a gem of a stay in Amalfi Coast. Far from the crowded areas of Amalfi and Positano town, still just a 20 min bus ride from the residence to Amalfi town which further connected the coast by ferry. Our host Leo was so accommodating and helpful and gave us good tips for travelling around the coast and also explained to us the history of the place. Overall the apartment was very clean, well equipped and overlooking the beautiful coast. It was a wonderful stay and we would highly recommend it to everyone visiting the Amalfi coast.

We got the best hosts in town. Could not have asked for more. The hosts actually came to pick us up from Salerno train station offering discounted price which was such a convenience. The property was clean. Everything was in its place and most importantly the hosts helped us all the time and also picked and dropped us from various locations, they even gave us bus tickets since we wanted to try bus. God bless such hosts and this property. Will come again and again.

We loved the views and the peaceful location. It was away from the crowds of Amalfi and Positano, yet those towns were accessible when we wanted them. The accommodations were clean, updated, and spacious. Lovely restaurants and winery within a few meters and several markets close by.

It was absolutely beautiful. Leopoldo and Ida were exceptionally accommodating hosts, always ready to assist, answer questions and offer rides as needed. They shared their own wine and home grown lemon which really elevated our cooking in and enjoyment of our dinners on our terrazzo. Leopoldo was kind enough to take us on separate visits to a farmacia and a market for supplies when my companion got sick and we had to take a couple of rest and recovery days. We enjoyed visiting with Ida’s brother, Maurizio, as well. It was an easy bus ride into Amalfi. The restaurant Bacco next door had amazing food and a beautiful setting. We wish we had more time!
