The location is up stairs but that’s good because it’s away from the noisy street. The window view is pretty. The room is compact but very clean and the pillows so comfortable.
Such a quaint little place! We loved every minute of staying here. We enjoyed being in the heart of Vernazza with gorgeous views. The owners/family live above and run a gorgeous store on the main strip - they were incredibly helpful and kind!
View, compact but complete. As roomy as a standard hotel. Cheery, bright, beach decor. High above town means 158 steps but it's a scenic walk on a wide brick laid stairway. The hostess, Francesca helped with our bags, and there is a back way that is mostly an incline that takes you to Il Pirata, a great spot for an earlier dinner and for breakfast. The owner is a hoot!
The apartment was clean, comfortable and perfect for the two of us. It was conveniently located to the start of the trail to Monterosso. The hosts were very responsive and gave us great tips on where to eat. Beach towels, clothes clips and clothing line, and umbrellas were a nice bonus. The view from our room of the sea was lovely and made the climb to our room worthwhile! We would highly recommend this place to others who are looking to stay in Vernazza.
