We felt right at home in our apartment. The kitchen had all the tools we needed for cooking, the shower had plenty of hot water and good pressure, we loved sitting outside on our deck, and to top it all off, our hosts (Matilde, Ricardo, Maria and Francesco) were so kind and willing to help in any way needed. The location is an easy (except for dodging the crazy drivers!) 11 minute walk to Piazza del Duomo, good-size grocery stores are no more than 5mins away and big grocery stores (Lidl, MD) are just a 12 min walk. Yes, you will see a shocking amount of garbage on many of the local streets but once you understand that it’s a city services issue not that the people don’t care, then you see it differently. We always felt safe even walking at night (again except for the drivers). We highly recommend Bruno’s apartment and look forward to seeing Matilde and Ricardo again soon.
The host is great. Placement is also great very close to the city center but aside from the noise and crowds. The apartment is comfortable, cosy and equipped with everything that is needed including air conditioning and a washing machine. Bed was also comfy.
Matilda was an excellent host she couldn't do enough for you. You couldn't ask for a better host always there when needed. What a lovely lady I can truly recommend to stay here you are right in the middle of everything all on hand lidle only 15 minutes walk away or you could use the local supermarket 5 minutes away.

The host was so kind with us and the place was spacious, clean and modern. It's located close to the city centre and the beach, we had an amazing stay in Catania.
