Near the tran station. The host, Gaia, was super nice!
A really top quality, spacious apartment in a superb location ten minutes at most on foot from the train station and town centre. Great boat connections from Stresa.
Arrangements for arrival and departure were handled in a professional and friendly way. Gaia was a kind and supportive host. We felt very much at home.
The location was in a quiet treelined street a short walk from the railway station. The large balcony was delightful for eating meals and relaxing. The whole apartment was well equipped and very comfortable for two people. The lift was very useful.
Gaia was very helpful with information about shopping and other local leaflets were available.

Das Apartment Casa Gaia befindet sich im ersten Stock eines Mehrfamilienhauses in einer ruhigen Straße, etwa 10 Gehminuten vom Ortskern von Stresa entfernt. Es verfügt über ein Bad mit Dusche und WC, ein Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett, einen Küchen-Wohnbereich und einen großzügigen Balkon.
In der Straße gibt es genügend kostenfreie Parkplätze. Das Apartment ist sauber, zweckmäßig eingerichtet (inkl. Föhn im Bad und Adapter für die Steckdosen) und hat uns gut gefallen.
Gaia ist eine super freundliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin und wohnt im gleichen Haus. Wir hatten Glück und konnten das Apartment bereits 5 Stunden vor dem eigentlichen Check-In, der um 14.00 Uhr gewesen wäre, beziehen. Die Kommunikation läuft problemlos auf Englisch, was sehr angenehm ist.
Im Ort selbst ist gut was los, was uns gut gefallen hat. Es gibt entsprechend viele Restaurants, in den meisten haben wir lecker gegessen.
