The location is in the exact center of the City but set back from most the associated noise and late night activity. The staff is so very full of heart and friendly and bends over backwards to accommodate its guests anticipating every need. The included breakfast served at the hotel’s private restaurant/cantina was excellent — any requests or changes to the standard fare were met with graciousness and perfectly executed. Included along with the free breakfast was a wonderful afternoon appertivo consisting of a delicious muscat-type wine from the family’s proprietary collection with a delicious eggplant caponata and serving of fresh olives and almonds. The room was like a private apartment with its own foyer, personal balcony, oversized bathroom and exceptional quality linens. Impeccable location, accommodations, service and quality food. Highly recommend!
This place was probably the best value after checking more than 10 locations in different areas of Sicily. They included breakfast and free aperitivo and the value and quality of the stay makes up for the great price. Location could not be better. It’s 1 block from Cafe Sicilia, cathedral, other boutique hotels with a great view, etc. service was top notch, rooms are gorgeous, the cordiality and friendliness of Joele was amazing. We have loved it, the whole place is antique and renovated with great features. We wish to return. (Plus they have a restaurant and museum around the corner)
