It was pretty quiet, and quite comfortable. The hosts, Anna and Adriano were most kind and friendly.

Host went above and beyond to make us comfortable. He kindly welcomed us for our late check-in and explained the apartment's facilities to us, he left coffee and some snacks for our two-day stay. The apartment is clean and located just outside Ortigia (10 minutes walk), so very convenient for those travelling by car. Relatively easy to find a public parking spot nearby. The two bedrooms are large and comfortable.

This place really felt like home to me immediately. The kitchen place and top floor bedroom are bigger than it seems on the picture. The neighborhood is nicely quiet at night, yet there are numerous bars and restaurants on only five minutes walking distance. 10 to 15 minutes walking to either Ortigia or the Archeological site. Communication with the owner was nice and efficient. She left water, coffee and some cookies and rolls in the apartment for the first night. For the price I payed this was simply amazing.

Everything was perfect! We had a delayed arrival, but the host was extremely helpful and accomodating. She was always very communicative and quick to answer, which I really appreciated. The house itself is gorgeous. It has everything you could possibly need for a visit to Siracusa, including a beautiful, old-timey atmosphere. The view off the balcony is lovely. At the same time, the street is quiet and allows plenty of rest. Beds were comfy. Location was great, you're close to the center of Siracusa, and only a 15 minute leisurely walk to Ortigia. There's markets and pizzerias and bakeries right on the street, or the adjacent streets, if you're just looking for a quick bite. Oh, and the train and bus stations are ten minutes from here, which is great, if you're going to be exploring more of Sicily. If coming back to Siracusa, I'd definitely stay here again.
