Location, staff assisting with luggages up the stairs and balcony
Mari, the host, is exceptional kind and helpful.
We had a problem getting to Matera with a pickup, and she was with us for almost 1 hr under the sun to make sure we get our pickup! It was just too kind of her.
We loved this very Italian home. While it does have many stairs, the bed and pillows are comfortable and it has excellent air con. It also has an adorable kitchen and a washing machine. The bonus was the rooftop view of the Adriatic Sea. Plus, you can enjoy the LIVE concerts from the rooftop. We found the location to be right near the central piazza and easy to access. If you have mobility or balance issues, this might not be the best place because the stairs are tricky. But what a wonderful stay in a sparkling clean home!
