Stunning cave house which exceeded our expectations! and with an outdoor space which was great for relaxing after lots of walking .

Very central for all our sightseeing plans and lots of places for lunch\dinner so close by.

Francesco had an honesty wine bar which had wines from local sellers which was a fabulous idea.

Francesco answered any questions that I had and helped with suggestions on car parking for us.

In all we had a wonderful stay and I just loved Matera and the wonderful cave house.....

Gorgeous cave house. Beautifully decorated, lovely details, 4 poster bed, totally fabulous terrace, great Hammam type spa on lower level. Loved all the candles and incense. Great vibe all around. Wonderful location and great communication with Francesco, the host. Matera is amazing. Highly recommend. Absolutely fabulous.

The location in the Sassi was excellent. The surrounds were magical and the entire property was so unique by being a cave dwelling. The spa bath room in particular was unbelievable. We will have memories of a lifetime. Recommend this property highly if someone is looking for a unique holiday stay. Very romantic.

Super cool cave house with bonus of a terrace. Location was superb for exploring the old area with nice restaurants,places to have a drink right outside. Accommodation was bigger than expected & host was very helpful. This was the kid’s favourite place to stay out of 5 weeks across Italy!

location was right in the middle between old town and new. very comfortable and large patio was nice to have breakfast and lunch.
