Castellammare del Golfo is heavenly and this apartment is situated to make the most of its many charms. The sea is literally at your feet and two of best restaurants we encountered on our six-week trip lay along the harbor just a few minutes away. The apartment itself is small but it appears that great care was taken in the layout. The decor is just charming, with nods to Sicilian culture throughout. The two outdoor spaces are great. The small balcony off the kitchen offered the perfect sea view for our morning coffee. The third floor covered balcony has a stunning view (this is also the location of the third bedroom), string lights and a small table for lunch or dinner. Parking is free right in front of the unit. The location is a cul-de-sac behind the fortress so you have to cross a small stone bridge. We didn't think our little SUV could get through, but no problem.

A beautiful location with a sea view and small balcony. Great location for exploring many sites including Zingaro Nature Reserve. There are 3 floors so you need to be able to walk up stairs. The apartment was very clean and very comfortable, especially for longer stays. Parking was good right outside. There was a lot of renovation going on beside this building and in other apartments on this street so it was quite noisy during the day. Assuming this was happening because it is low season. The host, Ignazio, was very helpful.

The rental was spotless, comfortable, quiet, and location spectacular.

The location and the view is excellent! We couldn't have chosen a better place for our stay in Casetellamare del Golfo.
