Exarly as on pictures. Close to aqua park lifts and livigno centre 1km away.
Clean, spacious, comfortable, close to the slopes. Friendly hosts.
Good location, nice owners, great house for ski vacation. The steam bath with view to slopes and heating system are perfect after activities @ - 10 C . Well equipped and furnished with comfort areas for relax and wine in the evenings.
The house is beautiful, the apartment is beautiful, first class, very nice, and very new interior. Gaia who runs it is perfect and could not do enough to help us. We were there for new year, it was just perfect. We have been to Livigno for the last 20 years and stayed in many apartments, this one is probably the best we have stayed in. The apartment is in a quiet area, and 5 minutes walk from the pedestrian zone, there is a ski bus stop 100m away, we didn't use the car at all. Everything is in walking distance. We took the Casana lift most mornings, and coming back we were able to ski to within 100m of the apartment and then walk the last part. We would love to stay at Chalet Barbara again in future and cannot recommend it enough.
Hosts Gaia and her family were extremely friendly and hospitable and always available for help and suggestions. The apartment was very spacious for 2 adults + 2 children. The location is quiet, and well served by buses (stop about 100m from apartment, buses around every 10 min at peak times), and about 20 min easy walk to Livigno centre.
Winter/ski Tip - We found it easier to rent ski/boot lockers right next to the slopes to avoid carrying them around on the bus and it worked great for us.
