Amazing location, you can go anywhere walking, there are several restaurants around and even a cooking class/school right next to it. The place felt recently renovated, and the shower was great. They have a locker in the property which upon request you can store your bags after the check-out - this allowed us to truly enjoy all the time we had in Florence. Self check-in was great and information was clear. I'd recommend :)
