Enrico is a phenomenal host - he met us with the keys, introduced us to the flat, and offered us recommendations of eateries and activities around Cannobio. The flat is in the heart of town, easily walkable to the beach, restaurants, shops, and the cycle/walking path. We LOVED our stay in Cannobio.

The host is a great guy,, so kind and welcoming. You can tell it's his property because he takes such great care of it, keeps it clean and nice. The location is ideal, in the center of Cannobio, just steps from the lake. The apartment has its private sitting place and is facing a courtyard and then the parking. The private parking lot is big and secured with electric gates, fantastic. The only thing missing to make this perfect is air conditioning. But the owner is in the process of installing it. It wasn't that bad for us because the big windows have mosquito nets and it's very quiet, so we slept with windows wide open.

We enjoyed our stay at Giardino delle Ortensie, the apartment is roomy and very clean. The kitchen is well equipped. The location is great for access to both Stresa and Lucarno. Cannobio itself is a very nice town with lots of restaurants and we had a great hike along the local river. Enrico is a great host and was willing to help with whatever we needed.
