Location is great! Staff is very helpful when you have any issues.
The room was just as described and even larger than anticipated. Would not recommend for light sleepers due to the location right on the grand Canal. That’s the part we enjoyed most about it is being right there so close to everything. We traveled to Venice by train so it was a perfect location to haul our luggage to. It was also perfect because we could walk anywhere from there. 20 minute walk to Piazza San Marco. St Mark’s Basilica. Doge’s Palace. Ponte De Rialto. And right across the entrance from the hotel was easy access to an iconic gondola ride on the grand Canal & through the quiet canals of the city. Make sure to stop in just before the bridge to the Foggy Mug cafe for a cappuccino, pastry and canal taxis, workers & people watching before you start your day.
We loved our stay. Very easy walk from the Piazzale Roma bus stop. Excellent, detailed directions with photos. Easy to walk to a nice dinner on our first night, and early morning walk to the Rialto bridge in the morning. Back for coffee and quick walk across the bridge to the train station. Very pleasant room and quiet. We didn't see any other guests.
Location - the canal view of the room and the keyless doors.
Location is really something special, really close to main station and all the good restaurants and boat taxis and public transportation!!!
Room is nice and the common area is a beautiful place to stay while having some food enjoying the view from the canal from the windows there!!!
My only negative point is that the air conditioner/heater wasn’t really clear on how to change the temperature so the room was super hot in some point and I couldn’t manage to find a way to change the temperature on the room control… besides that, nothing to complain about my stay!!!
