For a 1-star hotel, Hotel Centrale exceeded my expectations. It is clean, has good breakfast, free parking, and is in walking distance to the central train station, all for a relatively low price (for Milan). Friendly staff, especially the overnight guy who made the cappuccino in the morning.
Good location, friendly staff, cleaned room and all linen are changed daily. Breakfast was good quality but the variety was less.
Nice staff, simple (croissants and yogurt) but nice enough breakfast included; spacious room; bidet; quiet even in a room lookin to the street below.
