Located on the shores of Lake Lecco, Hotel Don Abbondio is a small and intimate hotel in the ancient Piazza Era square. Our room, bed, water pressure, heat, WiFi was all good. We had a quiet night. We found a parking spot very close to the hotel. The hotel is right by the water but a good walk to the promenade.

Wonderful location on the side of the lake and has breathtaking views. A very nice promenade is nearby to do sports or just have a nice walk along the lake. The rooms are spacious. It’s a family-run business and the owners are a very nice Italian couple. They are super helpful, accommodating, and kind. Even though we did not stay in our intended room the first night, but they made it up and provided us with an amazing lake-view hotel.

The property was wonderful! the hotel was so beautiful. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable. bathrooms were great - hot water, spacious and plenty of towels. the balcony was amazing! the hosts were amazing - so helpful and gracious!

Luciano and his wife were very gracious and welcoming. Lovely location, quiet and excellent restaurant right next door. Brand new bed was very comfortable. Outdoor breakfast area was a wonderful way to start the day. Rm # 2 has a wonderful balcony over looking the court yard and fabulous views of the mountain above Lecco.
