I loved the location, an easy walk right to the middle of town. The hotel is in a formerly grand family villa and has been discreetly brought to life as a simple, comfortable, slightly old-fashioned, hotel. Excellent off-street parking, friendly, helpful staff and a lift. A good breakfast. And good shower.

Breakfast was very nice, lot's of different sweets, different breads, meat, muesli, yogorth, cake...

We chose this place to rest on our way home after traveling around Tuscany. We had a great time at the beautiful hotel and the kind hospitality and consideration of the owner. So we extended our stay for another day and took a leisurely walk around this wonderful city. If you want a traditional hotel, come to this hotel. Everyone will have a happy trip.

Charming hotel, a couple of steps from the centre of Salso Maggiore. Super clean bathroom, spacious bed room, wonderful and varied breakfast. Roberta and her brother do a fantastic job and take such care of their guests. We stayed just one night, en route from Abruzzo to Alsace, France, but it is a lovely relaxing stop over. We slept so well, the area is tranquil..yet restaurants, bars etc are just a short walk away. We will be back, it's a lovely hotel

The stay was far beyond my expectations. A smallish old-style hotel with exceptionally kind and observant staff, not over-powering. I could equate with the attention one would expect travelling business or first class on a world-renown Swiss airline. I should mention particular attention was paid to my mobility difficulty /use of walking stick) and the needs of my dog. I would certainly recommend the
