The building is very nice and positioned in a quiet area.
There is an internal free parking where you can leave your car safely.
The staff is ok, the rooms are big and clean.
The breakfast is very good.
The price is fair.
A few metres from the hotel there is a brewery where you can have good meals and beer.
It was a comfortable stay. 15 minutes walk from Train station. Also breakfast was better than I expected.
Hotel Ascot was a surprise for us as it was just off one of the main motor ways from Como into Milan and as such we were not expecting much for the very reasonable rate they were charging. However when we arrived we were surprised to find a secret gated hotel motel parking lot that was green with grass and trees, this was a first we experienced from any hotel in the city. The hotel is slightly older, perhaps circa 80s but the build quality of everything inside & throughout including the condition of everything was top-notch especially for the age and especially for the nightly rate such that we were pleasantly surprised all around including the nice breakfast that came with the booking. We would have no problem recommending this hotel to anyone especially if you have a vehicle and are coming back from places outside of Milan as the quality & value that one receives here would be very hard to beat in any city, so well done & my hat off to them.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Very welcoming. Clean and comfortable modern rooms. Nice bathrooms with good shower. Good breakfast. Easy to get a taxi or Uber into Milan (Uber or a metered taxi is cheaper than prebooked but the hotel staff will book one for you if needed). Would definitely stay again.
Lovely staff and really convenient location.
It was easy for me to go to the Autodromo over the weekend.
