We are so glad we chose to spend a night in the middle of the famous Piemonte wine region at Il GrecAle. Our room at the inn and our table at the restaurant had a breathtaking view of the beautiful rolling hills of vineyards and of the snowy Alps. We had an amazing 6 course gourmet dinner especially prepared for us by the owner/chef, Alessandro, and we very much enjoyed talking with him and his lovely wife, Elisa, who served a beautiful breakfast the next morning. The very good red wine we enjoyed with dinner was even made with grapes grown by Alessandro on this property. The room was spacious, clean, well appointed with an amazing view from the balcony. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was lovely with plenty of towels and a wonderful walk in shower. Staying at Il GrecAle also afforded us a trip to the must see town of La Morra which is only a ten minute drive away. Elisa was also very helpful in suggesting places to see.

We loved it here! The room with the giant terrace was gorgeous. Highly recommend dinner at the restaurant! We had the tasting menu with wine pairing, and everything was delicious and beautifully presented. We would definitely come back.
This was an incredible stay for our time in Langhe. It was the perfect home base for visiting all the beautiful wine towns nearby. The room was spacious, clean, and stylish with a beautiful deck. Breakfast on the patio was lovely every morning. We had dinner one night at the restaurant and it was absolutely incredible. The entire time we were there the staff were friendly and attentive. Could not recommend this place more highly.
