The host was fabulous. Went out of his way to make us comfortable and knowledgeable about the area. He recommended restaurants that gave a great experience. The loft bedroom was cozy. The kitchen was well equipped and the water fountain of fresh spring water was right around the corner. Lucca is a happy place. The residents were friendly and fun.
The city is beautiful, the apartment is comfortable, but the owner is one of the most welcoming hosts I have ever met.
Perfect location for exploring Lucca and the surrounding cities. Comfy queen bed and great shower with hot water! Kitchen had everything I needed for cooking. Would definitely choose this home again. Maurizio was a great host, always available if needed but we had no problems at all.
Mauritzio was very helpful. He recommended a wonderful restaurant for dinner.
What wonderful hosts are Maurizio and Laura - we felt welcomed and treated to the best of Lucca. Maurizio's recommendations for restaurant were superb - we dined better than in any other place we've visited in Italy. The location was excellent, kitchen very handy, bath ample, and bed loft was extra comfortable and cozy.
