The staff at Il Vecchio Fauno were so incredibly helpful and kind - they really went out of their way for us when we needed help with car transfers and when my mother was sick. Everywhere is immaculately clean. The art in the hallways and rooms was also a lovely bonus - so interesting! Our room was very spacious and had a lovely balcony, nice sheets and towels. The bathroom was absolutely fine, very clean and did the job. It's a little dated and a bit snug but it provided what we needed and we were very comfortable for our stay. The beds were pretty comfortable, too. We didn't fully partake in breakfast for various reasons but there was a good selection available. Location is about 3 minutes' walk from the amphitheatre entrance to Pompei, so perfect for what we needed, and there is a bank, pharmacy, shops, restaurants and cafes all within a couple of minutes' walking distance.

Great location within a few blocks of lots of dining and an entrance to the Pompeii archeological area. The hotel is decorated beautifully and has all the comforts you may need, including brand new heating and air conditioning.

All the staff were very very supportive and friendly and fun!!! Very nice people with high customer service oriented. Nunzia & Kiara prepared local and delicious breakfast. Also great location.

Excellent location near Pompeii ruins. Offered parking for a small fee. Located near some great restaurants.

The gentleman behind the desk was very pleasant and gave great suggestions on where to visit and eat. Great location right across the street from the ruins.
