This B&B was an excellent property. Its location was right in the heart of the old town. Had its own parking spot. Housekeeping came in everyday. Kitchen loaded with appetizers, breakfast foods, and snacks.
La Casetta is in the middle of the lovely old village of Gerace. The host was very kind and had every sort of food and drink available for guests. He provides parking in the centre which is very helpful. Perfect for a family of 4. The kids loved the sleep alcove.
Everything perfect! A great plus were the snacks and breakfast provided by the hosts, some of which were home-made. Dedicated parking outside was a real luxury.
I did not realize the choice I made until the door of La Casetta opened and revealed that I had not booked a room but a house! This fantastic surprise was only the first of a round of many more: the kindness of the owner, the facilities (I can’t think of anything that could be missing!), the perfectly clean spaces, the comfort, the so many options for the DIY breakfast, the PERFECT location! the value for money as well.
La Casetta was one of our favorite places to stay! Gerace is absolutely beautiful. This casetta is steps from the center of the historic area, close to bars and restaurants. It was clean and spacious, with a reserved parking space. The owner was friendly and informative. His young daughter helped with the interpreting! The kitchen was stocked with snacks and options for breakfast, some even homemade. We really enjoyed our stay at La Casetta!
