The location is in the valley of Alps, not far from French and Swiss borders. Also, there is a cable car to the top of the mountain from the town.
The host is very friendly, provided everything we needed for the stay. Also, she pinpointed various points (cable cars, mountains with fabulous views, lake for hiking) around the place which was very helpful in planning our adventures.
