The host was very available and helpful with all kind of stuff, from giving me tips on where to go and what to do, to making sure I had everything I needed. The scenery was lovely, with green hills and blue sea in the background. The apartment (il Pergolato, there are a couple of others) was cozy and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen & living room, a spacious bathroom, and a cozy bedroom. The best part was the wonderful porch, where one could stay and work. You can see the sea from that porch, too. It was very relaxing and peaceful.

We had a wonderful holiday at Pineta. Alessandro, the host, was very helpful and we felt welcomed. Mariangela was very professional and knowledgeable, always prepare with tips and insights about the region. The house has everything a family needs for a confortable stay. We loved the terrace and the views but also the feeling of intimacy that this house offers. We fell in love with the place and the surroundings, and we’re already missing Sicily! PS Take the advice of renting a car or a cab, to explore the surroundings! the schedule of public transportation is quite inconvenient.
