The location was excellent, on the south end of the main beach. There were coffee, gelato, and cafes within 5 minutes. The train station was about 5 minutes away. It was maybe a 5 min walk to be sitting in a beach chair. The unit is upstairs which has it's pros and cons. The pro is you can have the doors open all night and have a breeze off the ocean and hear the waves and know that you are still very safe, plus the great views. The apartment is well stocked with good linens, towels and basics in the kitchen. The hostess, Lara was great. Her guests before me left early so she cleaned early and allowed me to get in at 10am when my train arrived, so I almost had an extra full day. She met me at the apartment and was full of information about where to dine, but groceries, etc. I was very appreciative that she let me have access early as I was really just looking to leave my bag because I had a boat trip in Rapallo at 2pm and did not want to take everything with me.
