Staff was very friendly and helpful. We took a twin room, which in fact has 4 bunk beds, so it was very spacious for the 2 of us. The kitchen was clean, had what we needed, but didn't have a lot of utensils. Breakfast had a lot of variety and more than we could eat. We loved sitting outside on the folding chairs, in front of the ping pong table, watching the sun set over the mountain. Lovely base camp from which to explore Lecco and the lake and mountains. Many reviewers have mentioned that the hostel is quite far from the lake and downtown but we found that the buses 1, 4, 5, 7 worked well. Bus 1 stops right in front of the hostel and goes to the train station. The stop for bus 5 that takes you up to the cable car station is 10 minutes walk. There's a huge supermarket at that stop. Buses 4 and 7 also stop there and there are stops closer to the hostel.
Very clean, very comfortable beds, very friendly staff, and good security. Also having a restaurant attached to the hostel was wonderful. The distance from the town center was perfect.
The staff was super friendly, helpful and very positive with positive attitude. Big rooms, well equipped for good price. Also good breakfast in the morning and bar in the evening allowed to enjoy the atmosphere of this place. Very good location, quite close to center and restaurants.
Great place with a nice view and comfortable beds. The room was clean. They offered a drink as a gift, which was very sweet of them.
Great value for price. Easy layout but really clean and also modern design. Bathroom clean that is important for me. Spacious room, comfortable bed.
