I loved our stay at Loggia Delle Stelle! Donato met us personally and communicated via WhatsApp prior. When we arrived, everything in the room was so personable from the home baked cakes and focaccia to the little welcome note and treats. I’m a big coffee drinker and it was amazing to have a proper espresso machine with an electric milk frother. The room has the best panoramic view of Matera and we loved sitting out on the ledge with our snacks and drinks morning and evening. The room is absolutely spacious and we also loved the jacuzzi tub. Plenty of restaurants and easy to walk around in the Sasai. Donato and Rosanna are doing an amazing job running the guesthouse with 2 rooms and you can feel like you’re staying in a luxury boutique guesthouse. Totally recommend and we can’t thank them enough for a memorable stay in Matera.
The welcome that we received, including all the baked goods, and the focaccia were excellent!! The personalized note they left for us and the attention to detail left us speechless. The view is unmatched! The place was spotless and cool when we entered it. It was very much appreciated as the temperature was very high outside. The added touch of the starlight projector light in the evening made it even more magical than it already was I cannot recommend this property enough!!!

I love this apartment in every possible aspects. Firstly It offers an amazing view. Secondly the host and his wife are super friendly and helpful. Very detailed instructions on checkin and how to use the amenities are provided. The cakes that are home made by the host are excellent, not to mention a minibar filled with different kind of drinks. The apartment is super spacious, and has a fancy bathtub.
