Everything was fantastic an the MASSERIA DONNA MENGA.
Everything was perfect, it’s the perfect place to relax and have some couple time.
It is a magical place. Super comfortable, very near great Salento beaches. 5 star super comfortable.
This Hotel is truly exceptional . From the moment you enter there is a feeling of tranquility Every effort has gone into making this a peaceful haven from the thoughtful design , bright and spacious accommodation mindful ,attentive and friendly staff to the very talented chef . The food reflected Salentos best produce and was very skillfully prepared by a chef who is passionate about cooking . He met with us at the end of the evening to discuss his recipes , some of them coming from his grandmother .The Head Waiter had a very good knowledge of local wines and made excellent recommendations.The pool area was quite simply a haven of tranquility !
I rarely leave reviews but this hotel makes such an effort and the staff are so warm and friendly that I felt it truly deserves to be commended .
The location is a bit obscure, one may think you are lost. However, trust the GPS and you will get to the main gate. What lies inside is nothing short of a small oasis. Fantastic reception experience, staff is very helpful, totally hospitality oriented. Restaurant is simply superb, the food quality is exceptionally good, wine selection is amazing. They have maintained the charm of the Masseria (an old olive oil factory) & incorporated the comforts of the hotel. Breakfast was very good. What makes this place special is their staff/team - their attention to detail and guest comfort is unparalleled.
