The hotel was located in a beautiful historic building a few steps away from one of Palermo’s busiest pedestrian streets Via Maqueda. The staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast on the rooftop terrace was a beautiful way to start the day.
A calm, serene place, a hotel set in a historic building yet right in the city center.
Very central location in a beautiful, historic building. While large, the hotel felt intimate. Our room looked onto the main garden. The ladies at the front desk and at breakfast were friendly and eager to help. Despite being just steps away from the main pedestrianized drag (Via Maqueda), it was never noisy or unsafe. Breakfast is on a covered rooftop with views over the rooftops in the neighborhood, with the grand opera house on one side. Beautiful! Despite its centrality, it's easy to call a car (they can wait briefly right in front of the hotel)!
