The apartment was big and comfortable. It had the most amazing view, in a quiet and beautiful location. It had lots of amenities in the apartment. A beautiful pool for chilling after day trips. My family and I loved it !!! Would love to come back again. Great contact with the owner they always replied very promptly.

Perfect property, it has everything you needed. The host communicated really well. I would highly recommend this booking. The location is both a plus and minus. The views are absolutely incredible, it's nestled in the mountains and is absolutely stunning, by virtue of these positives it means it is a little tucked away and so if you are relying on public transport it's worth doing your research before going. Once we got the hang of it it worked just fine for us.
The big draw here is the view, and it doesn't disappoint. Pictures don't do it justice. Lovely balcony. Spacious living area. A few pastries and milk/juice available on arrival. There is a pool that looked nice, but we couldn't try it due to weather, and similar story for the BBQ.
Location-wise, Menaggio is about a 5 minute drive (not walkable due to narrow mountain roads with traffic and no pedestrian path), and is an ideal jumping off point to see places like Varenna and Bellagio via ferry without the massive crowds and higher prices of those towns. Parking is included at the apartment, but can be challenging in Menaggio especially on weekends.
We never met the host, but she was responsive via WhatsApp.
We loved this apartment. It had everything we needed, large, spatious, the balcony is overlooking the lake with a wonderful view. The neighbourhood is beautiful and quiet.
