We needed a hotel that was close to the airport for our last night in Rome. The Sheraton was a great choice. The staff was definitely the best part. They were engaging, helpful, and aiming to please. Of course, their English was excellent. It was easy to book a car to the airport with the knowledgeable concierge. The outdoor pool area was lovely. There was a good energy there. There was live music, a bar, and outdoor dining. We enjoyed swimming and cocktails before having a truly tasty dinner outside. There was a chef cooking all types of fish on the grill. It smelled so good, most of us ordered seafood. A nice wine selection. Our server was friendly and attentive. The breakfast was also wonderful. We could order coffee drinks and the food selection was generous. Even a vegan in the group had no trouble finding something delicious to eat including pastries.
