Sergio was wonderful. Apartment was modern and clean.
It was clean and comfortable. The owner was very friendly and helpful and he spoke English very well. He recommended restaurants which were very good. It was very conveniently located on a large well lit street with mostly pedestrian traffic and was close to a train station (very short walk). There was an elevator if needed, but the stairs were not a hard climb.

The host Sergio is very friendly and helpful, he gave us the keys late on December 31, just some hours before the New Year. The flat is located in the very city centre, close to the main square and the train station. The flat is quite warm and has a well-equipped kitchen, sofa and normal bed. Everything was clean, the shower worked great. We asked the host to check out later (1 hour) and he agreed, it was quite nice.
Our stay at Soana Apartment was undoubtedly one of the highlights of our trip to northern Italy. When selecting an apartment, we prioritized several key factors: a central location (but not within the old town), proximity to the Genoa Brignole train station, and a peaceful environment. Soana Apartment met all of these criteria perfectly.
Upon our arrival, the owner, Sergio, graciously welcomed us to the apartment and assisted us with our luggage, as the building lacks an elevator. The bedroom and living room windows face a tranquil courtyard, ensuring that we enjoyed a serene atmosphere devoid of street noise.
The kitchen is fully equipped, offering not only the basic utensils but also sugar, salt, an array of spices, and various types of tea bags. We were particularly pleased to find a kettle, as it is surprisingly uncommon for apartments in Italy to provide one; more often, the focus is on coffee-making accessories.
