Location was spectacular. Near all the best restaraunts and the beach. Enzo was the best host. He met us in person, told us where to park and made a reservation at a beautiful open air ristorante. It was all a wonderful experience.
Great location inside the walls of the historical center.
Our host Enzo had good suggestions for restaurants and made sure we got a good table in the reservations he made for us.
Anna was such a fantastic host, so helpful with everything we needed from food and beach recommendations to tracking us down an iron for the apartment. She was so lovely and acommodating, even left us a bottle of wine and snacks!! The apartment itself is beautiful, on the edge of Monopoli old town which is so authentic italian. Everything is a couple of minutes walk away. The main beach is closed this summer but it isn't a problem when there are so many great beaches nearby and swimming spots by the rocks!! Spotlessly clean, great little balcony for people watching. We'd love to come back... or move in. :)
We absolutely loved our stay. Amazing cute and cozy place, fantastic location a few steps to the beach and above all that, Enzo was absolutely lovely to deal with. Gave us recommendations of parking, events and tips about Monopoli. 10/10. Already cannot wait to rebook a stay in Monopoli and would definitely stay at Sottovento again. Thank you Enzo!
