The location was perfect for our 10-day stay being just outside Old Town and a short 5-minute walk from The Suites to the main Como train station as we had planned a 2-day excursion to Florence. Our apartment was well furnished, a split two bedroom with queen-sized beds and en suite bathrooms, a kitchenette, washing machine only (no dryer), large living room space and private outdoor patio.
We started communicating directly with the unit owner as there were no cooktop instructions, only a refrigerator, no freezer so no ice, and no trash handling instructions (e.g., recycling, composting, etc.). Regarding ice, the unit owner bought and brought us a standalone ice maker within 24-hours of us requesting it. He also came personally to show us how to use the cooktop. The cooktop has many child safety features built into it, like if there is not a pot on the heating element the cooktop would not turn on. Impossible to figure out the issue without instructions or a YouTube video.
Beautiful property, close to the train station and the city center.
Good quiet location in Como but still close to center
Everything in the space was so well thought out and beautiful. We highly recommend staying here.
Whilst this apartment is located just outside the main Como city area, it is very close to the Como SG train station and the street has some wonderful restaurants and a lot of character. Whilst we did not meet the host , they helped us via a phone to figure out the pass code to the door - at 10 pm at night. Our travel connections had been messed up during the day so we were very glad to receive help at that time. The design and decor of the apartment is very modern and luxurious, it is very quiet and the outside courtyard area is a bonus. We very much enjoyed our stay there. Very clean and comfortable.
