The hosts were very nice and allowed my friend to use their phone to confirm a prepaid taxi ride from Palermo to the airport. The call took 30 minutes! Our room was attractively decorated and cleaned each day. There was a huge breakfast buffet each morning offering a wide variety of local fruits and pastries, scrambled eggs, cereals and cheeses. The hosts accommodated my vegan diet with soy yogurts and soy milk for the cereal. The six steps from the street down to the B&B, were beautifully decorated with brightly colored Sicilian tile risers. The entrance way was also decorated with life size, traditionally stylized Sicilian Moorish pottery heads. They were male and female, black and white and made quite a lovely presence. The B&B was less than a 5 minute walk to the bus stop which took you to the center of Taormina by winding up the narrow and treacherous mountain road. The ride was approximately 15 minutes long with views of the ocean and Mt. Etna that were were breathtaking.

The location was perfect walking to the beach and very close to cable cars, buses, and train station. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Great location, about 100m using stairs to the Mazzaro beach. To the Isola Bella beach it's about 200m along the street. Fantastic breakfast and friendly host.
