An excellent location for us in Piombino. We arrived by train and were staying there for one night before getting the ferry to Elba island. We also used it on our return from Elba island, before getting the train to Siena. The accommodation is about 100m from the train station, and close to a lot of nice places to eat. The ferry isn't too far away. We walked. Most would take a taxi/bus if not driving. We were lucky enough to get in a little earlier than check in time. Thank you, Francesca.
The room we were in was very comfortable as was the bed. There was complimentary bottled water which was a nice touch. And the mini fridge was helpful. A really useful place to stay when travelling by train (or driving) before getting the ferry. An Italian breakfast was supplied. You have a voucher for a place just outside the accommodation. The room was immaculate.
Near Piombino station, but (20 min away walking from the port, if you aim for visiting Elba)

10 min walking away from few nice small beaches
Coffee and croissant included as breakfast.
Property is very central to piombino and all the shops/restaurants. The room was lovely and just what we needed. Our window over looked a little square with cafes/shops/taxis. The bed was very comfortable and air con had no problems. Easy to locate and host stayed in regular contact with us via WhatsApp. Highly recommend:)
We stayed just one night to catch the ferry early in the morning: it was very easy to find park in the evening and it’s very close to the port. Bed was comfortable and host very precise in providing info.
