Beautiful rural setting within close driving distance of the region’s sights. It was a well-equipped property which allowed us to cook our own meals. We appreciated the sweet treats left for our arrival.
a very quiet place in the middle of fields, but close to any important attraction in the area. Very important is the effect of the trullo walls - you will never feel the heat from outside. It was not necessary to turn on the AC, even if outside were 39 degrees. Driving through the fields has it's own charm, enjoy staying here. This trullo really inspires country life, you cannot compare it with the commercial tourist trullos in the area.
Everything....the accomodation was elegantly furnished, spotlessly clean, spacious and well equipped with everything (kitchenware, appliances, towels etc). The owner was there both on arrival and departure and was kind and helpful, made us feel at home and answered any queries we had about shopping, restaurants etc. The surroundings were idyllic, open countryside, fresh air, animals grazing in fields nearby and complete silence. There was an adjoining Trullo but it may have been empty ... Would definitely recommend and would have no qualms about returning to Sarmezzanello if we ever go back.
If you are looking for peace then you must to stay here. Its very nice and cozy. I highly recommend this place.
Trullli kept in excellent condition. we had a wonderful stay. communication with the host was always on time and accurate.
