The property was beautiful and in gorgeous location, you can walk up hill to the town and downhill to the lake. The view from the window bested all the other viewpoint. The hosts were friendly and kind. The room was set up well and all was clean.

As other have mentioned, this property has STUNNING views over Lake Albano which is certainly the highlight. It is relatively well-equipped with a washing machine and small kitchen, though some essentials (such as sugar, salt, coffee etc) in the kitchen wouldn’t go astray. There was some water in the fridge (which was appreciated), but nothing else - so come equipped! The location is very convenient, located between the station and the Centre, making traversing between the two on foot relatively simple. That being said, it is on quite a steep hill so those with mobility issues or young children may certainly be challenged by the mount of uphill walking (on cobblestones, with steps) required. We visited in summer and enjoyed a visit to Lake Albano for a swim, which was a convenient 5 minute drive away.

Location is amazing! Property suitable for a family of four with all necessities.

Exceptional location. Lake view from terrace. Train station few minutes from villa, easy to reach Rome by train in less than hour. Castel Gandolfo center just 5 minutes climb to the hill with Vatican gardens museum. Villa itself looks as museum.

We stayed in a self contained apartment with all the essentials provided. Large area with washing machine, everything you need to cook if desired and plenty of linens etc. the Apartment is up high and you get a spectacular view of Lake Albano. the apartment is a 5 min walk to train station, so an easy day trip to Rome. there are back steps (plenty of them! but quite beautiful) that take you up to Castel Gandolfo town with restaurants, cafes and the Pope's summer house.
